  • Dental Assistant- Children’s Restorative Van-The Dental Assistant provides assistance to dentists/hygienists in the general treatment of patients in both routine and emergency procedures in areas of diagnostic, preventive, restorative, periodontal, endodontic, pedodontic, orthodontic, oral surgery, and prosthodontic dental care. Dental Assistant


  • Cavity Prevention Assistant– Full-time. The Cavity Prevention Assistant will work very closely with the Cavity Prevention Hygienist to ensure smooth operation of the program while on the van at each school. S/he will be responsible for making sure that all patient registration is ready for the hygienist, and the information is correct. S/he will be responsible for opening the van at the start of the day and for instrument set-up and sterilization of instruments. Will be responsible to coordinate with the Dental Outreach Administrative Supervisor to order supplies and keep the van stocked properly for each location. S/he will be responsible for conducting patient Oral hygiene education (OHI) with the students while on the van. Picking up and walking the students to and from the classrooms. Working with the Clinical Aides to make sure that all the patient paperwork is correct and the parent consents are all signed and present. Assist the hygienist with the input of patient information in the EDR (Dentrix) when needed. Attend back to school nights and special events to promote the program with the Hygienist and Dental Outreach Administrative Supervisor.Cavity Prevention Program Assistant


  • LCSW/LADC– Full-time.  Community Health Alliance is looking for a full-time Licensed Clinical Social Worker/Licensed Alcohol & Drug Counselor. The perfect candidate will be dual licensed as a LCSW and LADC but will consider candidates with at least the LCSW.   This position occupies a critical role on our treatment teams, requiring a professional who shares our commitment to providing quality treatment through teamwork and integrity. Responsibilities include providing psychiatric social work assistance to our patients struggling with issues in behavioral health and/or drug & alcohol. Duties will include collaborating with our integrated behavioral health staff, referral source, and multi-disciplinary staff at Community Health Alliance (CHA) to assess, diagnose and form a treatment plan while determining level of care, continuity of care and an effect discharge plan.  Education and Experience: Master’s degree in social work, marriage and family counseling, clinical psychology, drug and alcohol counseling or closely related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Hold a current license to practice (LCSW, LADC or Clinical Psychologist) in the State of Nevada or eligibility for licensure in Nevada. Must demonstrate experience working with culturally diverse populations. Bilingual Spanish is preferred.


  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)-Full-time. Our LPNs provide professional nursing care to the underserved populations in accordance with the authorized scope of practice specified in the Nurse Practice Act. We are dedicated to providing Northern Nevadans access to excellent medical care for the whole family. We serve patients in six health centers and offer additional health and wellness services. LPNs provide excellent patient care in a supportive administrative role as part of a care team model.
