Biography

Briana began her career in mental health as a case manager in a small rural community, where her passion for supporting adults with complex needs first took root. She later joined a social work support program for individuals with severe mental health diagnoses, eventually becoming the program’s lead.

In 2022, Briana earned her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Eastern Washington University and moved to Northern Nevada to be closer to family and pursue new opportunities. Since then, she has gained diverse experience working in a nonprofit agency, an acute behavioral health facility, and private practice.

Briana specializes in working with adults and uses a variety of therapeutic approaches to help clients get “unstuck,” improve relationships, and increase overall life satisfaction. She has experience with motivational interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), addressing concerns such as anxiety, trauma, depression, ADHD, and substance use.

She believes relationships throughout a person’s life deeply shape how individuals see themselves, others, and the world around them. Because of this, Briana uses a relational approach with a strong emphasis on attachment and the therapeutic relationship as a foundation for encouraging change and reducing distress.

Personal Interests

Briana enjoys cooking, reading, being outside, and spending time with her family and her cat.
