Biography

Dr. Wolfe earned her doctorate in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Family Therapy from Azusa Pacific University. Before beginning her clinical work, she completed a master’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology at St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio. Her clinical training included internships in community mental health and residential rehabilitation settings. Dr. Wolfe is currently licensed as a Clinical Psychologist in both Nevada and California.

Dr. Wolfe specializes in providing evidence-based treatment to groups and families. She has extensive training and experience in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and has been instrumental in developing DBT-related training programs for both clinical and corporate environments. Her therapeutic approach integrates DBT techniques with elements of attachment theory and psychodynamic therapy to address a wide range of issues, including relationship difficulties, family challenges, women’s issues, addiction, stress and anxiety, and depression.

Her philosophy toward therapy emphasizes that it is not always about “fixing” a problem. Instead, it often involves learning how to work with the problem — by creating awareness, building insight, developing new skills, and strengthening existing ones. Dr. Wolfe views therapy as a collaborative effort between therapist and client, aimed at promoting meaningful change and restoring balance to areas of life that may feel overwhelming or out of control.
