Safe Sleep Program
Keeping Your Baby Safe, One Sleep at a Time
Our Safe Sleep Program provides education, support, and resources—including access to Cribs for Kids—to help reduce the risk of sleep-related infant deaths and ensure every baby has a safe place to rest.
The ABCs of Safe Sleep
A simple way to remember the safest way for your baby to sleep:
A — Alone
Your baby should always sleep alone in their own sleep space—never in the same bed as adults, children, or pets.
B — Back
Place your baby on their back for every sleep, including naps and bedtime.
C — Crib
Use a safety-approved crib, bassinet, or portable play yard with a firm mattress and fitted sheet. No pillows, blankets, toys, or bumpers should be in the sleep area.
These ABCs can dramatically lower the risk of Sudden Unexpected Infant Death (SUID) and create healthier sleep habits from day one.
