CEO Update: Looking Ahead to 2026

A year of growth, innovation, and community-driven care—just getting started.

As we look ahead to 2026, I’m incredibly proud of the momentum Community Health Alliance continues to build across our organization and throughout Washoe County. Today, we serve more than 35,000 patients each year, and we are proud to be accepting new patients across all service lines at all six of our locations. Our focus remains on delivering high-quality, integrated healthcare. The coming year represents an exciting chapter of growth, innovation, and deeper community connection.

One of our most anticipated milestones is the May 13 ribbon cutting for the expanded Neil Road Health Center, marking a significant investment in expanding access to comprehensive care. We’re also preparing to launch a new mobile medical and dental unit, allowing us to deliver coordinated care together—on wheels—across Washoe County, with the goal of extending services to better reach rural families and seniors. In addition, we’re proud to pilot a medical and dental partnership with the Washoe County School District, offering same-day visits for students and families to help reduce absenteeism and keep kids healthy and learning.

Beyond these initiatives, we will continue strengthening our maternal health and behavioral health programs, ensuring whole-person care remains at the center of everything we do. As we move into 2026, we invite our community to be part of this important work—whether through making a donation, supporting us through a planned gift, participating in a fundraising event, or volunteering at our prescription food pantries.
