Community Health Alliance Announces Closure of North Valleys Health Center

CHA remains committed to providing healthcare services to patients and families in the North Valleys community.

Community Health Alliance (CHA) announced today that its North Valleys Health Center, located at 280 Vista Knoll Pkwy., Suite 107, Reno, NV 89506, will conclude operations at its current location on Friday, Oct. 30, 2026.

CHA opened the North Valleys Health Center in 2020 and has been providing care to patients and families in the community for more than six years. The location provides primary care, behavioral health, and Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) services, and has become an important healthcare resource for the North Valleys community. CHA is also one of the largest Medicaid providers serving patients in the North Valleys.

The closure is the result of a change in ownership of the property where the health center is located. Saint Mary’s Health System previously leased the entire property and subleased a portion of the space to Community Health Alliance. Following the property’s sale, the new owners elected to lease the combined spaces to a single tenant, resulting in CHA’s departure from the location.

While CHA will no longer operate at this location, CHA remains committed to providing healthcare services to patients and families in the North Valleys community.

Patients can continue to receive care at any of CHA’s five other health centers, with the Sun Valley Health Center being the closest location to North Valleys. CHA is evaluating options for maintaining a healthcare presence in the North Valleys. At this time, there is no specific timeline for a future location or expansion to announce.
