Community Health Alliance is proud to announce that Dr. María Fernández, MD, MPH, the organization’s Medical Director, has been honored as one of the top 40 Under 40 medical professionals in the United States by the National Hispanic Medical Association (NHMA) and the National Hispanic Health Foundation.

Dr. Fernández’s exceptional leadership and advocacy within the NHMA Nevada Chapter and the wider healthcare community have earned her this prestigious recognition. As the incoming NHMA Chapter President and Medical Director at Community Health Alliance, she has consistently demonstrated compassion and expertise in her role, advocating for healthcare rights and dispelling misinformation to promote equitable access to care, particularly for Latino and lower-income families.
