Biography
Regina Eramaa is a licensed psychotherapist who is passionate about collaborating with her clients to discover their inner strengths with acceptance and compassion. She completed a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies, obtained her elementary teaching credential, and went on to earn a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from John F. Kennedy University.
She has experiences working with children, teens, and adults providing individual therapy, family therapy, and group therapy. Her areas of experience include relationship issues, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, substance use issues, trauma and PTSD, and navigating life transitions. She provides short-term, solution-focused counseling as well as more in-depth therapy helping individuals address deeper issues. With her teaching, counseling, and case management experiences, she offers a holistic therapeutic approach through a humanistic, cognitive-behavioral, and mindfulness-based lens where one can feel safe sharing their lived experiences. In creating a safe and supportive space, she strives to help others process the thoughts and emotions that emerge to gain meaning and understanding from one’s lived experience and facilitate change and empowerment.
