Oral health plays a vital role in your overall health. And our exceptional dental team is experienced in integrating them both. We provide preventative and restorative care, as well as educational resources, to achieve and maintain healthy smiles. While our primary focus is child dentistry, we do provide limited emergency and preventative dental services for adults.

The following dental services may be available:

Teeth Cleanings, Oral Exams, and X-Rays

Children should begin seeing a dentist for routine exams and cleanings once their first tooth appears or by the age of one. General guidelines state that patients should make an appointment for a professional dental cleaning at least every six months. Please speak to your provider about your unique treatment needs.

Dental Sealants

A dental sealant is a thin, plastic coating painted on the surfaces of teeth. The sealant bonds to the teeth to form a protective shield over the enamel of each tooth and seals out plaque and food.

Cavity Fillings

Cavities are common, even when you have an excellent oral healthcare routine. Our team can fill cavities quickly and with minimal discomfort.

Dental Crowns

Dental crowns are also called dental caps. This may be needed when a large cavity threatens the health of a tooth. We will help you determine the best option for you during your appointment.

Emergency Dental Services

Children and adults may experience dental emergencies like a chipped or lost tooth, trauma, severe pain, or swelling. Our team addresses dental emergencies by treating the area or referring to a specialist as needed. 

Dental Care for Adults and Homeless Community

While our primary care focus is child dentistry, we provide limited emergency and preventative services to adults and homeless members in our community. Our team accepts same-day dental appointments based on availability at our Wells Ave. Health Center. We do not take walk-ins. Please call (775) 329-6300 to check availability. If there are no available same-day appointments, you will be placed on our waitlist. We work through the waitlist daily.
