Dr. Lisa Collier Recognized as 2020 Outstanding Provider by Nevada Primary Care Association

Dr. Lisa Collier, Community Health Alliance’s chief dental officer, was recognized as the 2020 Outstanding Provider by Nevada Primary Care Association.

The Nevada Primary Care Association announced the Association’s 2020 Health Care Awards virtually during their annual health care conference on Sept. 16. Four individuals were recognized for their excellence in health care:

  1. Unsung Hero: Jake Wahrer from Northern Nevada HOPES
  2. Exceptional Administrative Leadership: Sandra Abdullah from Nevada Health Centers
  3. Exceptional Board Leadership: Glen Amador from First Person Care Clinics
  4. Outstanding Provider: Dr. Lisa Collier from Community Health Alliance

Dr. Lisa Collier joined Community Health Alliance in 2014 as a dentist. Her strength in identifying and solving problems within her department was obvious from the start, and she quickly grew into management within a year of becoming a dentist. Over the last six years, the dental department at Community Health Alliance has undergone many changes. That includes significant organizational changes and most recently, the pandemic.

“We couldn’t be more proud of Dr. Collier,” said Oscar Delgado, CEO of Community Health Alliance. “She has seen our Dental Department through some challenging times, and she has maintained a positive attitude and shown great leadership throughout.”

She is responsible for writing and enforcing infection control policies for all dental locations and ensures quality care throughout the practice through impeccable customer service and regular staff trainings. In the coming year, she is looking forward to growing the dental department’s pediatric clientele. Our pediatric dental department offers cleanings, exams and restorative care for children through the age of 20.
